photography

2008 – 2013

A series of snap-shot photographs started as a reflection on the photography and my attitude towards it. It is a failed formal experiment, an attempt to photograph sincerely, simple and brave; to get rid of seriousness and pathos in favour of the moment and spontaneity. But later it became clear that such scrutinising of ordinary things in their poor monotony and repetition has lead to aestheticisation of boredom and triviality. When you look at a familiar object for many times, it regenerates; you put new meaning to the familiar forms.
